Overview[]

Pogsussyuwurickomingohioland (Pogland for short) was the country played by Jake in Season 4. The country was based entirely on memes and country sim inside jokes. Like all the memes. Pogland was teamed up with Hotmenia, the country played by Sebastian. Together they made up the team known as the Blazing Hot Memes. Although it was essentially never played, Pogland holds a special place in its creator's heart for its comical nature. Among all of Jake's countries, the amount of effort put into Pogland is undoubtedly one of the highest, rivaled only by that of the Livima Region, from Origins.

As previously mentioned, Pogland was based entirely on memes. Jake spent a considerable amount of time searching both his memory and the internet for as many memes as he could find.

Lore[]

"One day an ogre named Shrek stood in his swamp, when suddenly the spirit of Tim came upon him and together they became very sus and founded the country of Pogsussyuwurickomingohioland"

In this piece of lore, "Tim" is referring to the character Tim from the previous season, Season 3. During Season 3, Jake ended up playing as Tim/Timland, which is why he became an essential part of Jake's next country, Pogland, in Season 4.

Government Structure[]

Pogland undoubtedly had the most detailed government structure of any of Jake's countries, and it went as follows:

"The Pogsussyuwurickomingohiolandian government is centered around a group of three leaders elected by popular vote*. These leaders, known as the Poggers, essentially act as the rulers of Pogsussyuwurickomingohioland. A seat opens up every year, with each Pogger serving for three years. They act as a group and all executive decisions must be approved by a 2/3rds majority in the House of Chads. The House of Chads is an assembly of 30 representatives from all regions of Pogsussyuwurickomingohioland and basically just exist to moderate the actions of the Poggers. The House is led by three Chad Lords, elected by popular vote*. For the justice system, above the basic regional judge committees are the Impostors, a group of seven judges that get the final say in any case that makes it up to them, with the Impostor Prime running the court. Criminal offenses deduct large amounts of social credit, and if a crewmate’s (regular citizen) social credit reaches -5,000, they are, instead of given a death sentence, sent to the Backrooms. Crewmates that escape the backrooms are set free and their social credit is set to -2,500. However, if their social credit reaches -5,000 again then they are simply banished to the shadow realm with the title “Skill Issue”. Other forms of punishment include defenestration and drop kicks. Financial department is run by Stonks.

*69% majority required. If 69% majority not reached, election campaigns resume for another week. Repeats until winner is decided."

Jake had plans for several government agencies in Pogland, but only realized three of them. Whether the Illuminati should be considered a government organization is questionable, but he included it anyways.

SCP Foundation[]

"A very secretive organization that works to contain supernatural anomalies from around the world."

NEMO (National Emoticon and Meme Organization)[]

"An organization that monitors the movement and evolution of internet memes. Owners of Reddit and Twitter, websites that serve as homes of internet memes. NEMO also serves to take down viral computer viruses, however only if public opinion regarding the virus is particularly negative. In 2003, the movie Finding Nemo was released, starring NEMO, depicted as a fish."

The Illuminati (Disbanded)[]

"A secret organization made up of a number of celebrities, politicians and other popular figures. After being accused of conspiring to take over the world, the Illuminati disbanded."

Pogsussyuwurickomingohioland Culture[]

Pogland culture is where Jake would end up really using all the memes he could think of. There is no subject in all of Pogland's culture that does not discuss a meme.

"Culture is complicated, so I’m just gonna include the more important things. One important thing you must always make sure to do is say “F” to pay respects at a funeral or other similar occasion. Some common phrases include “Sus,” “Pog,” “Uwu,” and “Ok boomer.” You should also make sure to avoid at all costs being considered a “Karen.” If you are caught being given this title, it can severely affect your social credit. Also be careful when roasting people, as you might receive and uno reverse card. Viral computer viruses are a relatively common occurrence, happening about once per year. Due to them usually being meme-oriented, most of the time little is done by authorities to stop them. Even viruses like the blue screen of death have been able to run rampant for years without NEMO intervention. When federal action is taken, suspects are confronted with “FBI open up!” and banging on their front door, even though no such thing as the FBI even exists. You may also notice that everyone has Nokia phones. And try as you might, you won’t find a single map including New Zealand, Wyoming, or Ohio. You’ll occasionally find maps that show Australia upside-down as well. I mean rightside-up."

GEX Robotics (Generally Exciting Xylophones)[]

The origin of GEX Robotics comes from the motto, which is fairly obviously playing on the phrase "gay sex." This can be attributed to Sebastian.

"GEX Robotics is a competition in which people design and build the most exciting xylophone they can. The xylophone must be electric (hence the robotics part) and must be played the same way as a normal xylophone, i.e. with mallets. Whoever builds the xylophone that is the most visually and audibly exciting to play wins $5,000 (this is a very serious competition).

*The motto was commented on by Luke, saying, "sus." Jake responded with, "hmmm why would you say that?"

Season 4[]

Season 4 barely saw any action before it ended. Due to this, not much can be said for what Pogland did. What little did happen, though, was all related to Pogland's teammate, Hotmenia, played by Sebastian. In the game, Hotmenia and Pogland weren't exactly teammates. Hotmenia existed on an undiscovered island, until Pogland discovered it and so to speak claimed ownership of it, as shown by this two-part lore shared in the Zoom chat by Sebastian:

"The Nation of Pogland has officially claimed the island known as “Hotmenia” as under their nation. After explorers discovered the island, the Poggers decided that it would be most appropriate to study the island and its inhabitants before claiming it as theirs. During their numerous studies the researchers and scientist only recorded 11 unique individuals inhabiting the island, they are known as “Hotmen”. After much studies the team responsible for the island decided that they had gathered enough information about the Hotmen and their way to approach them and expose the outside world to them. The Poggers looked over the information gathered and approved of the expedition. Upon landing on the island, the team was initially unnoticed. However that quickly changed when one of the Hotmen (known to the team as Dwayne J) noticed the team on the beach and alerted the others. Within moments, 6 out of the 11 Hotmen were upon the team of researchers, with weapons ranging from sticks, to stone spears. The team was not startled, as this type of reaction was expected. The team threw a couple Duckets in the direction and instantly the men were distracted by the shiny objects. To the Hotmens knowledge the duckets they had were the only ones in existence and were sent from the god known as “Father life” or ”Father earth” in some translations. The fact that the other white men had these objects shattered the Hotmen’s schemas. They retreat quickly back into the dense jungle. And the team cautiously and slowly pursue the Hotmen"

"[Lore] the Pogland scientist dudes approached the village where at first they were seen enemies, because the Hotmen did not understand that there were more dudes. But the Poglandian scientists quickly became friends with the crude Hotmen, even spending time to teach their language. After a few months the scientists decided that it was time to take some Hotmen to the mainland. So the Hotmen chose who would go with. Upon arrival on the mainland the Hotmen were incredibly curious. Some of them even built huts similar to those noted on the island. Only some Hotmen chose to go back after about a week of being on the mainland. When they arrived back at their village, the Hotmen immediately began a competition to see who could design and build the best boat. Soon one villager rose above the rest with his design. The scientists had named him Bruzil because he mumbles about something that sounds like that a lot. His design has used a couple local products to design a waterproof hull, and had use woven palm leaves as a sail. The scientists were enthused by the creativity and advanced engineering Bruzil showed. Pretty soon the Hotmen had produced enough of these boats, deemed Umazon boats. Pretty soon a harbor/trade Village was established on the mainland."

Apart from that, Jake and Sebastian also planned to open a casino in which other players could gamble. Originally, the currency in the casino was planned be children/child labor, but the other players were not very supportive of that idea, and the currency was switched to normal money. The casino was planned to open with a Lil Nas X Roblox Concert.
